Third meeting for members of the European Federation For Family Employment

Members of the European Federation for Family Employment met on 4 March at the Committee of Regions in Brussels. This has been their third meeting since the launch of the Federation at the European Parliament in June 2013.

The foundation was created to become a part of the Europe 2020 strategy by giving impetus to a new economic, social and societal dynamic in Europe in terms of family employment, through:

• establishing a resource centre for the organisations that represent or work in the field of family employment
• relaying information to the European Institutions on the evolution of the sector and its challenges
• mobilising a network of contacts who operate in this field in order to exchange best practices and create a teamwork dynamic.
