Only 6 months before the French Presidency of the EU Council (01\/2022 &#8211; 06\/2022), he stressed the major role of PHS workers during the crisis and called for a reflection on their status, their remuneration and the needs of the households employing them. To this end, he encouraged Member States to develop their rules, incentives and fiscal frameworks to increase the potential of the PHS sector.
